This screen is used to obtain your NYRA Pin number, or reset a new pin number. Mainly it will be used to obtain a Pin number needed to add your NYRA account to your HB Web access. (Note: you only need this PIN number the very first time you access your NYRA account. From there forward you will use your Universal ID number).
Create Pin
You will need to know your NYRA HB Account number to create a pin number. Complete the Create Pin number screen (as shown below) and click the 'Create' link at the bottom of the page. Note: Only include the Tax ID number you have on file with the bookkeeper’s office. If you have both a Social Security number and a Federal ID number, do not enter both numbers or your request for a Pin number will not go through.
The system will then send your Pin number to you at the email address you provided above.. A sample copy of the email is provided below. If you don't receive the email right away, please check in your 'Deleted' or 'Spam' folders to see if the email was automatically placed there.

In the example provided, you would use the Pin Number '68500798400' in the 'Add Account' screen. Details on how to add an account can be found in the 'Entering Account Data section of this document.
Request New Pin
To request a new pin, you will need to enter your account number and the old pin number. When you click 'Send', a new Pin number will be sent to the email address on file.
Forgot Pin
If you received your Pin number and then lost it before you could access the HB Web Account Access website to activate your account, you can use the 'Forgot Pin' option to create a new Pin number. Select New York Racing Association in the 'Participating Facilities dropdown box and then enter your Account number. Your new Pin number will be emailed to the email address you have on file. (To change your email address, go to 'Edit Profile' on the left-hand side of the screen.)
